Pansh depower bar

A while back I was looking at the Pansh Aurora which is a closed cell depower kite, one of my concerns was that Pansh sell this as kite only without a bar...

Well Pansh are now selling a depower bar, it comes in 4 sizes from 50cm-65cm -

Product details -

"This bar is now set for 4 line use. It is suitable for snowkiting, surfing and landkiting. Riders of all levels, from professors to newflyers, will all gain substantial advantages from this control bar.

This bar features a quick release on the depower loop and a quick release on the safety leash. The primary safety system is designed to meet the standards of safety release loads ensuring an easy release at all times.

Please note this bar includes a handle pass safety leash."

Still no option on the Pansh website to buy the Aurora as a ready to fly package with the bar and lines, but if you spend over US$499 then you can get a bar for free. It could be an option for those of us that can't afford a Flysurfer Speed. But would like to see a serious review on the Aurora as a complete set up before I spend my money!

Feel de-power!

In my quest for a low wind buggy engine I am now looking at some other options...

A second hand depower kite, there are a few out there though they are a little bit more expensive than a new foil!

The winter weather is strange here in Perth, we only seem to get any decent wind ahead of a storm or rain, otherwise it is still and calm. Hence the need for something bigger.
