Camping at Lefroy!

Chook has posted some great information about camping at Lake Lefroy during the regatta, so today I bought this, $8 from Kmart...

Believe it or not I have always wanted a solar shower! 

And that will go nicely with this...

12v battery system, three way fridge, 84 litre water tank and inner sprung mattresses - I should be pretty comfortable.

I'm going...

To the Lake Lefroy Land Saling Club Regatta, 26th to 28th September - now I just need to persuade somebody to lend me so Ozone R1's or Chronos!

One of my KAP pictures made it into a local newspaper, the Sound telegraph...

KAP Ozone R1...

No not using the R1 as a KAP kite! But some screen shots from the very swinging video that was shot from my KAP kite yesterday...

Ozone R1 in a buggy...

I had a go with the R1 today, 11m, I would have preferred to start on the 6 or 8m and build up - but what a kite! And what potential, I got nowhere near unleashing it as I felt overpowered and wasn't confident enough to really let it rip. 

But Andy from http://www.max-vmgracing.com/ is getting an 8 at the end of the week and may get a 6 as well - so hopefully I will get to play some more...

Need for speed - measurer...

A while back I had my Garmin eTrex H stolen out of my car so I have been unable to accurately measure my speed.

The other day I rememberd that we still had a Magellan Explorist GC  from when we used to go geocaching so this is now strapped to the buggy...
