My favourite weather website (and app) is going through an upgrade, it includes new features like actual wind compared to forecast and a wind rose...

Wind confusion...

After being very confuddled with the wind forecast on Willy Weather yesterday, unexpectedly the trees started to move so I headed to Lake Walyungup.

I started with the 10m Ozone Manta...

Until it became over-powered then switched to the 6m Ozone Access...

And had just over an hour of buggying...

It definitely has its advantages living so close to such a great buggying location.

Confuddled...

I was all set to go buggying this morning, the ute is loaded, my wife even made me a mocha to take with me. Looking out of the window there is not a breath of wind.

Willy Weather online forecast about 15 knots this morning...

The Willy Weather app forecasts maybe 10 knots dropping to bugger all...

My eyes and the trees tell me the app is right, see why I'm confuddled? Looks like I'm going to have to do the weeding!

It's on...

For tomorrow-

No chance...

of buggying this weekend - there is some wind, but it is going to accompanied by rain (and plenty of it) and maybe some thunder!

It's also blown any chance of using the new camper trailer.

Winter wind equation...

We are starting to get into the frustrating winter weather patterns...

Sun = No wind = Ozone Chrono 12-15m

Rain = wind = stay at home in bed!

The problem is I don't own a big Ozone Chrono!

Buggying Sunday...

Winds looking good for early Sunday morning.

Friday...

I'm finishing work at 1, then heading straight to the lake for a couple of hours...

The buggy is loaded I know what I'm going to be thinking about while at work!

All quiet...!

It's been very quiet around here, hot and not much wind, which has meant not much action in the buggy.

looks like we may get something happening over the weekend so hoping I may see some action...

Or may even try Friday afternoon.

Looks like the wind should be ok to take the Manta out for a run late morning...
